My Views On The Creation of Religion. Anyone Agrees?

I beleive the reason why religion was created was the counteract the never ending fear of death. Death cannot be cheated and people did not want that burden cast on them. The creation of something after this god forsaken world is the only solution they could come up with. Think about it. Every religion has its roots to death. If life was immortal no religion would exist. they all share an after life. We are scared to face rotting on the ground forever and we have created this illusion to justfiy to ourselves that there is better that our life has more meaning than that ant you stepped on the other day and squished when in reality it doesnt amount to anything we are insignificant. A tiny speck in this expanding universe which will end soon. the only thing we can never ever ever outrun is death. Everything dies and so ideas are created. And then to make society more productive you create an alternate views on the never ending happy life and say there is a hell if you behave bad so dont kill me be nice to me so you dont go to hell. It's all just the fear of dying. What makes someopne 10,000 year ago not kill someone else because they are starving to death. Oh well if you kill me you will go to hell so might as well starve to death and go to a good place. that is why i think religion was created anyone else agrees or disagrees. PS: i'm only talking about the creation of religion i don't want some hateful comments telling me to repent for i have sinned or some **** like that i'm not saying anything mean about religions but just what caused them to be thought of in the first place.
